kokyū space
living meets breathing
In Japanese, kokyū (こきゅう / 呼吸) is written with two characters:
呼 (ko): “to call / to exhale”
吸 (kyū): “to inhale”
Together, they form “breath” or “breathing”—a recognition of the balance between release and intake, the fullness of the entire act of breathing.
When life feels crowded or heavy, kokyū space invites lightness, ease, and clarity. It’s a place to pause, breathe, and find freedom again.
Through our yoga + home organizing offerings, we help create more than calm rooms or flexible bodies. We design environments + experiences that give you the space to breathe.
At its heart, kokyū also speaks to living in rhythm + harmony. It is the art of being in sync and embracing the pace of life – bringing together space, stillness, and abundance in everyday life.
